After adopting my special man from a local rescue I began to volunteer for them. Fostering dogs, taking them to vet visits, and learning to communicate with them. Alongside working in different portrait studios across Melbourne practicing my skills and observing how to run a business. Eventually I brought the two together to build my own studio. A place where dogs can feel safe, loved, and comfortable to be themselves, so that I can honour them and the important role they play in our lives by creating stunning artwork for them and for you. Their essence should be captured. We all deserve high quality pieces of art that feel as special as the connection we have with them, and I can ensure that essence never leaves your heart or your home. This is the perfect time to think about the parts of their personality you’d like to highlight most in your portraits. Are they playful are perky, or cool as a cucumber? In the days leading up to your session we will work together to plan every detail. I will be there to guide you through each step to ensure we create a memorable experience for both of you.
You will also receive a fun questionnaire to fill out about your their personality, favourite activities, and any special requests or ideas you may have for the shoot. Along with this you’ll get a helpful guide on how to make sure they are comfortable, relaxed, and ready for the photoshoot. This process is all about ensuring you both feel supported and excited as we capture beautiful moments that you will cherish for years to come.
Over the course of three hours we will work together to style, capture and showcase their personality, creating beautiful moments that truly reflect their charm and spirit. We will find their playful nature, a special trick you love, or a quiet moment of affection between the two of you, we’ll make sure every moment is perfectly captured.
Once we’ve created these stunning images we’ll take a moment to relax on the couch, unwind, and carefully review all of the portraits we’ve created. This is when you get to choose your favourite images, and together we’ll design the perfect piece of artwork that will be a lasting addition to your home – a beautiful reminder of your best friend, with you forever.
The production process can take up to six weeks. Once completed, we will give you a call to schedule a time for you to see your custom creation for the first time and take it home. Each piece is not just a product, but a finished work of art. Thoughtfully designed and crafted with care. These pieces are meant to stand the test of time, ready to be displayed in your home and become a focal point of your space, where they will live proudly on your walls, adding beauty and character for many years ahead.
